Terms of use
Effective date: September 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of AI Humanizer Benchmark at aihumanizerbenchmark.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
What this site is
AI Humanizer Benchmark is a public, verifiable benchmark of commercial AI humanizers. Each cycle, the same freshly generated texts are run through every tested humanizer, each output is scored by a fixed panel of commercial AI detectors, and the results are computed by a published deterministic formula. The Site publishes the leaderboard, the underlying data, the scoring code, and the full methodology.
The Site is an information resource. It does not provide an AI humanization service, and visiting it creates no account, contract for services, or vendor relationship.
Operator and conflicts
Some humanizers ranked on the Site are made by the Site's operator. That conflict is disclosed on the fairness page and addressed by design: those tools are held to the same methodology, scoring, and penalty rules as every other tool, the test set is fixed cryptographically before each run, and the complete raw data is published so any special treatment would be visible in the detector verdicts themselves. No vendor pays for placement, and there are no affiliate links.
Use of the benchmark data
You may read, cite, quote, and reference the leaderboard and the published results for journalistic, academic, research, comparative, and commercial purposes. The cycle data is licensed under CC BY 4.0 and the scoring code under MIT, both in the public repository; attribute “AI Humanizer Benchmark” with a link when you reuse the data. Downloading the raw cycle bundles and re-running the published scoring code against the published inputs is expressly encouraged.
Do not present the data in a way that materially misrepresents the methodology, the scoring, or a specific tool's results.
Trademarks and third-party names
Product names, trademarks, and logos referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners. They appear here to factually identify the humanizers and detectors that were tested, and their use implies no endorsement of, affiliation with, or sponsorship by the named parties.
Newsletter
If you submit your email address to the newsletter form, it will be stored and used only to send periodic updates about the benchmark. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Handling of that data is described in the privacy policy.
No warranties
The Site, the leaderboard, the underlying data, and the scoring outputs are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. The benchmark records how third-party humanizers and detectors behaved at a specific point in time; those products change frequently, and published results may not reflect current behavior.
The leaderboard is an informational comparison and should not be the sole basis for any purchasing, academic, legal, or business decision. Detector scores are the verdicts of third-party commercial detectors as observed during a specific cycle; they are not determinations of authorship, originality, or academic integrity.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site's operator and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site, the leaderboard, or the published data. Aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
Vendor concerns and corrections
If you are a humanizer or detector vendor and believe the methodology was misapplied to your product, file a dispute. Submissions are reviewed against the published methodology and scoring code, and resolutions are published. Published cycles are never edited; corrections, where warranted, are made transparently in a subsequent cycle. Disagreement with the methodology itself is not, on its own, grounds for adjusting published results.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the Site, scrape it in a way that imposes unreasonable load, submit other people's email addresses to the newsletter form, or misrepresent the published methodology or results.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
